I finally got all my stuffs and got some photoshoot going tonight with my buddies from The Porcelain Effect, a few hours before they went on stage. It was actually my very first time using off-shoe flash, it definitely felt exciting but at the same time scary since I’ve never done that before and I was actually really surprised how the shots came out, but it was definitely fun. Check out their myspace and their “signature” song — White Roses. You’ll love it.
I am also currently working on a new layout for my site so that the pictures stand out better, and something that reflects my style.
Edit: Added one more photo

My friends from The Porcelain Effect played a showcase at The Reverb last night. If you were sitting on your couch that night watching your high def tv - Too bad for you, because everybody who attended the showcase were impressed, specially two of the three record companies who were there. It definitely sounded 10 times better, compared to last year when they were playing in Brampton (see The Hype and Goodtimes Cafe), and the crowd was going wild. I was thoroughly exhausted, but they completely blew me away yesterday. What a stress reliever. Beer was a great stress reliever too.
And I am definitely looking forward to shooting more concerts in Toronto. The lighting is just so great.

Merry Christmas to everyone!
Last Saturday a few bands played at The Hype, Brampton in order to raise money for a good cause. (sorry but I totally forgot what it was about).
Too bad I arrived late. I missed the all-chick band Dame.
The Love and Terror Cult were awesome! The interaction with the audience/fans made them look even better. Some really hardcore stuffs right there.
Some more shots of The Porcelain Effect, this time I decided to use less of my sigma 10-20mm wide angle, simply because I got sick of it and all the shots looked 120% alike.

Here’s a few more shots of The Porcelain Effect, Arise and Ruin, and Straight Reads The Line, when they were playing at Goodtimes Cafe in Brampton
