Here’s a few shots that I took of that kickass band called The Bled from Take Action Tour 08, March 19, 2008.

Here are some shots of August Burns Red, from Take Action Tour 08, which I went to last Wednesday, March 19th. I really loved them. Of course, when August Burns Red is one of your favourite bands you gotta love em.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t get any shot of the entire band since the lighting was pretty bad.

Friday night I went to see my friends from Night Life at The HorseShoe Tavern. Their tracks were totally different from what I usually listen to, but change else is always good. I really loved the signature song “Hey Jude”. That one got the crowd pumped and got them off their chairs, got me pumped too.

Last night I attended Take Action Tour and that show was totally insane! I’m so glad that I got to see one of my favourite bands, August Burns Red. I never heard of The Human Abstract, From First To Last or even Every Time I Die, but those guys totally blew me away! And the best part is that Every Time I Die was headlining and all the entire crowd decided to race to the stage. It’s like the bouncers were not even there.

My friends from The Porcelain Effect played a showcase at The Reverb last night. If you were sitting on your couch that night watching your high def tv - Too bad for you, because everybody who attended the showcase were impressed, specially two of the three record companies who were there. It definitely sounded 10 times better, compared to last year when they were playing in Brampton (see The Hype and Goodtimes Cafe), and the crowd was going wild. I was thoroughly exhausted, but they completely blew me away yesterday. What a stress reliever. Beer was a great stress reliever too.
And I am definitely looking forward to shooting more concerts in Toronto. The lighting is just so great.

After weeks of absence from all the local rock shows, I finally managed to go to one of the most exciting shows! I never heard of Hail The Villain before, but those guys totally blew me the F away! I just couldn’t wait for Rides Again to get on stage! Too bad my flash batteries were starting to die during Hail The Villain’s performance, but I still managed to get a few shots of Rides Again! I should have thought of bringing extra batteries =( Well, lesson learnt. The Imports were definitely fun! Like…7 people in one band? You’re crazy? But it definitely worked out for them.

Merry Christmas to everyone!
Last Saturday a few bands played at The Hype, Brampton in order to raise money for a good cause. (sorry but I totally forgot what it was about).
Too bad I arrived late. I missed the all-chick band Dame.
The Love and Terror Cult were awesome! The interaction with the audience/fans made them look even better. Some really hardcore stuffs right there.
Some more shots of The Porcelain Effect, this time I decided to use less of my sigma 10-20mm wide angle, simply because I got sick of it and all the shots looked 120% alike.
Here’s a few more shots of The Porcelain Effect, Arise and Ruin, and Straight Reads The Line, when they were playing at Goodtimes Cafe in Brampton

One more shot of Arise and Ruin from Dec 15’s show at Goodtimes Cafe in Brampton

Last night’s show at Goodtimes CafeĆ ( Brampton ) was amazing! Straight Reads The Line got the crowd totally pumped! Too bad that many people decided to leave before Arise and Ruin got up on stage. Unfortunately for Under Amber Skies, they had to play with a substitute guitarist, but a really loved their light show. I love light shows. And I almost got my speedlite 580ex broken as the moshpit just appeared out of nowhere once Straight Reads The Line started rocking out. Arise And Ruin is definitely what I was waiting for.
